I took this session of the class and had a GREAT time. It was extremely helpful to get the immediate help and feedback on my pictures. I got so excited I climbed to the top of a silo to take pictures…and I have a fear of heights! It was also great to receive feedback from April after I posted my photos.
April is a great instructor and I highly recommend coming on these photography field trips. You’ll have great photos to put in your scrapbook.

I went to the Friendship Park Conservatory for the photography field trip yesterday and had a GREAT time. This session was valuable because I was really conscious of what was around the subject of my photos. Watching April helped because I noticed her taking time before she took her pictures. As a result, I became more thoughtful before I started snapping away!
You don’t need to have a fancy camera to benefit from these sessions. I realized that many of the photos I took can be taken with pretty much any type of camera.
I’m looking forward to the next session and can’t wait to find out where we’ll be going.
